We love to learn about and celebrate Heroes that have meaning for our children. Heroes that show super values that are important for young growing people to emulate in their own developing lives.
Some of the Heroes we have enjoyed over the last year were: Nelson Mandela, Ahsoka Tano (Star Wars), Sir Michael Jones, John Britton, Greta Thunberg, Ruby Tui, Sir Edmond Hillary, Mirabel Madrigal (Encanto), Moana, Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story) and many more!
Our activities have included lots of Lego play, a rubbish clean-up, crafts, ball games, fun teaching videos, Water pistols, interactive services and activity sheets.
We learn about God’s values from scripture by seeing them in the lives of Heroes that have meaning for our young members. We learn their stories and share what makes them such amazing Heroes!
